the road…a home for some.
I love traveling. It takes many different forms and seems to continue happening in my life. 48 States: The other day we were at some random truck stop. I am beginning to realize that truck stops are kind of cool in their own special way; always interesting people and random stuff to look at. I still have not bought any ridiculous hats, but I have come real close. We were looking at this big map trying to figure out where we were and where we were going. This trucker guy just started … [Read more...] about the road…a home for some.
hitting the road a bit
After 3 weeks at “home” in good old San Diego I got on a plane this morning. It was nice, a little early but nice. Sometimes I feel so at home traveling…. I flew to Houston and then onto Austin Texas today. 1. American travel is weird. 2. This trip has already been fool of surprises. 3. I think there will be many more. I keep feeling that I need to get this web site thing amazingly awesome before I do anything with it. Screw it! I am just going to start writing on this trip and see what … [Read more...] about hitting the road a bit

I love what I do!! I also love having space to “down-shift” if you will. Space to not think. To not be in charge. To simply DO NOTHING (yet in that “nothin” we tend to do lots of stuff, like get caught up in web-sites and blogs) The simple gift of a little space from the great responsibility that I have been carrying. On that thought I really admire parents. There is no “break” from the responsibility of growing a family. I have some friends, including my sister, who are newish parents. … [Read more...] about exhale.inhale.rest
“A Discussion” – Tuesday’s poem
The Cost. Come follow me. Leave the dead to bury the dead. LET GO. LET GO. The Son of Man has no home. Sell everything. LET GO. LET GO of that which you cling to most, That which holds you back. LET GO. Come follow Me. What will it look like? Absolutely Incredible. I am afraid. That is ok. I am scared. Have COURAGE. I feel alone. I am always with you. I do not trust myself. Trust ME within you. I want to run. Run to Me. I know these answers. LET GO. I know. JESUS LOVES … [Read more...] about “A Discussion” – Tuesday’s poem
I am a mess
Coming back to the reality of my life. I am a mess and that is a freeing thing to say. Even as I write this I feel freeeee. Constantly in my life I feel pressures all around me to BE something, to DO something. I run fast, move and produce. I am sure that there might be someone out there that can relate to this. We live in a world that seems to constantly be moving faster and faster. I can;t seem to keep up - ENOUGH!!!! I am a MESS. I love that I am a mess. I love that I am not good at … [Read more...] about I am a mess
one step- this site is officially up!!
The site is live.... it has been for a few weeks now actually. I am excited about this yet I also have my reservations. Something I see in my life is that I have big dreams and also a desire for excellence. A pattern I have been noticing is that I would rather do nothing than to do something half way or not up to my expectations. Like having the idea to make a little movie or 5 minute thought on video. I want the thing to be beyond professional quality. I want to to be big screen quality!! … [Read more...] about one step- this site is officially up!!
28 years old
Birthdays are an interesting thing to me. For the last 5 years my birthdays have all taken place over seas. On islands for 2 years in a row (one in Thailand and 1 in Greece); then in Spain, then New Zealand - this was the first time my birthday happened during winter; and then this year in Korea. My friends even got a cake for me this year!! Every year I try to take some time to think. Some time to look back and also some time to look forward. I am not big on “goals”; I simply want to … [Read more...] about 28 years old
